What are some physical therapy exercises that can reduce the risk of bedsores?
My sister is 16. She was paralyzed in an accident, she’s very thin, she can’t use her hands or roll over, and she has to be diapered mainly because she can’t control herself. She’s still in the hospital but will be coming home soon. What are some good physical therapy exercises or massages to do on her that can reduce the risk of bedsores? She’s quadriplegic, I want to help do physical therapy on her daily when she gets home.
the key to prevention of bed sores is frequent pressure relief. She should have a good skin relieving cushion in her wheelchair and potentially a quality mattress with skin relieving features. Her PT and dme people can recommend specifics. In bed, she should be repositioned every 2 hours.

Shoulder injuries are not limited to the more than forty years, but if you are at risk of a midlife crisis who are also at higher risk higher than normal to injure his shoulder. Weakness and pain when you lift your arm above your shoulder or to one side or the front, weakness in the shoulder and arm pain during sleep are just some of the symptoms. Treatment involves rest, along with treatment of inflammation by NSAIDs and ice packs .. If pain persists, you could end up with steroid injections to reduce inflammation.
Once the swelling and pain under control you will have to start taking physical therapy exercises to strengthen the rotator cuff and avoid future injuries. The trouble is that these exercises, the exercises are the same car that you would have to train and strengthen the shoulder to avoid injury in the first place.
After having gone through the hassle and pain of a torn shoulder rotator cuff and found the physical exercise therapy sorted out for me, I now ten o'clock minutes of shoulder exercises every day to make sure my shoulders stay fit and healthy.
