Do you know of a good sump pump battery back up system?

It has been recommended to me to install “Storm Pro Deluxe” battery back up unit. This system has dual sump pumps that are working alternativley.
How much is this system going to cost?

You might want to investigate one of those systems that operate on your household water pressure http://www.plumbingsupply.com/water_powered_backup_pump.html . The obvious advantage is that as long as you have water pressure the backup will function, no battery to run down.

I put in a Wayne 12 volt backup system probably almost 10 years ago now. I know the battery is probably pretty well shot but I haven’t taken the time to change it out. Also the trickle charger that comes with it in no way will keep up should the battery be low and the primary pump fail even if the electric is still on. I am considering replacing the trickle charger with a two stage charger that will supply some real amperage should the electric be on and the pump fail.

My main concern is primary pump failure not power outage but that water pressure solution that I mentioned above covers both as long as you have water pressure rather than until your battery runs down. If I had it to do over again I would go that route.
