Is 3 times a week at gym doing cardiio for a hour and walking 20 mins 5 days a week a good fitness regime ?

Yes that’s very good. The only thing you may want to add to that would be weight training twice a week. Building muscles helps burn fat off quicker.
If you wanted just to tone muscle (rather than look like Madonna!) do light weights with high repetitions (eg. a bicep curl with 5 kilograms 3 sets of 15 – 25 reps).
It would probably best to speak to a Pesronal Trainer at your gym to discuss this.

We all know the health benefits of being active and outdoors for fitness. Did you know that one of the most beneficial exercises you can do for themselves it is to walk outdoors?
A few years ago, my mother and I organized a neighborhood walking group fitness. We decided it would be safer for us to walk in small groups, and it was a good way to meet some new women in our neighborhood.
We have prepared some flyers and put them on the doors of our group of neighbors walking again. Within days, we had seven new women to join us on our walks.
Our group has grown steadily in membership in the last 4 years.
Things to consider:
1. Members. How many members want to allow to join your walking group?
I suggest keeping your group standing around ten members. If you decide to have more than ten members, then you should consider breaking your group into two smaller groups, each with its own organizer.
2. Walking Calendar. Select the days and hours and make a calendar.
To begin, it is best to choose the three days week and walk for 45 minutes per day. As your group becomes more active, you can add a day or increase your walking time of 60 minutes.
With our group, we turn our hike schedule according to the seasons.
In the winter time, we walk during evening hours later because his warm outside. In the summer time, we walked for hours in the morning or early afternoon, when out of your refrigerator.
3. Security. After that formed Our walking group is notified our local police department. We gave them a copy of our walking program and a copy of our journey on foot.
The Police officers will no longer patrol several runs along the route on foot in the days and times that we could walk. I have also prepared for one of the officers police to come and speak to our group once a year about security when we're walking and it will usually free. You can never be too sure.
